A former sous chef at St John, Elliot opened Camille in London’s Borough Market in February 2024 with Clare Lattin and Tom Hill, also behind Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck The Picklery in Dalston.
A neighbourhood restaurant inspired by imagined jaunts through France, his menu celebrates seasonal and locally grown produce with a simple approach to cooking that captures the rustic energy of a regional French table.
Named ‘one to watch’ in Code Hospitality’s 30 under 30, Elliot has also done several residencies and pop-ups with fellow chef Samuel Smith. These have included a #CookForIran Middle Eastern-inspired pop-up to raise funds and awareness of the human rights movement, especially women’s rights in Iran, and an appearance at Carousel, drawing on Mesopotamian influences including his own Iranian heritage, with dishes including flatbreads with wild za’atar and goat’s curd; and oysters with litteh and crispy onions.
Elliot, who was born in London, has an Iranian father who is originally from Tehran.
